The Cockroach in my pants...

On Saturday afternoon as Alyce and I sat down after a hard day at work, my dad told me to clean my room as it looked like a "pigsty". As Dads statement of my room looking like a pigsty was true, I decided my room was in a good need of a spring clean in the middle of summer. I started my cleaning with disposing of the 5 glasses and two mugs that were all full of coffee, water and goodness knows what else. The tops of my cupboards with the photos on top were looking pretty scabby so i threw away bits of the paper and the tissues and re-arranged the photos. The next thing I tackled was the enormous amount of clothes strewn across the floor. So I began folding the clothing that was clean and chucking the dirty clothes into a pile. I was doing pretty well until I came to my music stand. My music stand is pretty handy when i don't feel like puttin my clothes away, cos I just lay them on the stand instead! So I took the pants that were on top and started to fold them. As my pants legs were pretty long i had to hold them high, above my head, to fold. So, as I was folding my pants... this huge monstrousity stares into my eyes and i threw the pants in horror as a shrill scream exited out of my mouth. I cried again and again for help, but none came. Only the shouts from my darling sister calling out "SHUTUP!" I was left alone with this moster. I couldn't move, unless he did. I stared straight at the creature in a hope to scare it but the cockroach stared back just as evil. I stood for awhile shaking and wishing i had some fly spray in my hand. As quick as i could i jumped high over the monster and ran to the door in an attempt not to be touched by the insect. I collapsed into the kitchen and took out the flyspray. I showed Alyce the moster, but instead of helping me she laughed and walked away. The cockroach was on my trumpet case and angrily I sprayed half the can on the creature. Though it did not die instantly, it was able to crawl underneath my bed and leave me breathless with tiredness...
It is now Monday, and pathetically I still can't look under my bed.

That post was really good, you should write more like them. I'm sure you get up to all kinds of wacky adventures at school.
Keep up the good work diana.
