Youth Alive...
Wow, it has been AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS since the last time I updated my blog! I think I have some explaining to do!
This past week I have been at the Youth Alive camp. How AWESOME was that camp? It was just such a great experience no words can describe how it went. I was a camper with my best mate Fiona. It was down in Rockingham and the conferences were held in the Mike Barnett Recreation Centre. If you haven't been in that stadium then you have no idea how long it would take to clean that centre. Because Fiona is an intern with Harvest West Bible College the interns are requiered to clean the building and other various jobs. Because Fiona and I were the only peeps going to the camp from frequency I was with Fiona the whole time. So I got to know all the interns quite well. Many thanks goes out to the girls who are inspirational. Thats Niina, Miranda, Aysha and Rachel. Anyway back to the story! The camp had two speakers. They were the rocking out Sanga from Hillsong youth and Chris Long from a contemporay church. These two speakers are full of the fire of the holy spirit, their messages were very inspirational to live our lives for Jesus Christ. All who heard them both were always on the edge of their seats wanting to hear the word of God. So through these messages my perspective on things have changed greatly. My agenda is full of living my life for GOD! Through this camp there were auditions for the music team which i went for with my trumpet. And it looks like I have a possibility of getting in to after my studies which is TOTALLY awesome!
Through this camp I have grown closer to God. I now have a stronger faith in him that he can pull me out of the worse times. Prayer works.
So that was the reason for the delayed updates, cause I was so stoked in going to Youth Alive and now that Im back I am so glad that I met all the interns and alot of other great people.
