Romance... reality or media?

Romance movies, well they do have to be a favourite of mine. You know the tales, where the young lady with the beautiful looks, smooth hair and great personality is alone. It just doesn’t seem to work out for her, no guy has ever really swept her off her feet and she becomes a little insecure of her looks and how she presents herself in society. But along comes the tall, dark and handsome guy (preferably a firefighter) and sweeps her off her feet. He will go on to tell her that she’s beautiful and states he will never leave her. This is all well and good, it makes the ladies who have a man get all lovey dovey thinking of their man, while it leaves the single girls sitting there wishing for a guy like that firefighter. What I want to know is, do these stories ever happen in real life? I’m talking movies like the Wedding Planner, I Do (But I Really Don’t), Kate and Leopold, 2 Weeks Notice, Sweet Home Alabama, Titanic, When Harry Met Sally, Must Love Dogs, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Shakespeare in Love, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Moulin Rouge, Bounce, You’ve Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, What Women Want, Notting Hill, Runaway Bride, Never Been Kissed (a personal favourite), 50 First Dates, Grease and who could forget Ghost!  What I mean is, are guys really like this? Look im not turning all “I want a boyfriend” far from it! I am just curious if guys would do what these movies say they do. Well it was on my brain and I thought I should just share it with you, seeing as though I haven’t posted in ages... hehe...

And another romance was King Kong... you know i cried the whole way through that movie!... hehehe.... 

As you can see I am in a wedding dress. No i didnt get married to Peter next to me. I recently performed in the musical Into the Woods. And i was Cinderella. Hahaha... So i might (emphasis on MIGHT!) post these pics... i just got exams and i dont have alot of time on my hands to post on my blog... sorry guys!
